Debbie, you will be missed by so many of us. I remember fondly all the nights you and I stayed up into the wee hours quilting at Koinonia while the rest went to bed. You had so much patience when you taught classes at LIQS..especially when I brought my non-sewing daughter! My life is more blessed by having you in it. So sad you are gone but we will meet again in heaven!

A few more memories with our dear Debbie. One is an oldie 2005, one from a group quilt at an LIQS quilt show and from this past January at Debbie’s house for our annual Christmas get together. Notice her beautiful Christmas quilt to the right. We’ll miss you my dear friend...

I’m really going to miss you Debbie.
You were a good friend. Not only to me, but to so many.
When I met you over 25 years ago, you were one of my quilting students.
But you soon became more talented than the teacher.
I’ll miss the phone calls back and forth, with quilting questions. Picking each other’s brains.
I’ll miss our monthly luncheons. And asking each other “Do you have your hearing aids in?”
    And our weekends in Connecticut.
    So many good times.
And I’m so happy to have the gifts that you gave to me over the years, that I’ll always treasure.
    Till we meet again

I'll miss Debbie - she was a good friend, generous quilter. I remember some very nice times together, quilting trips, special birthday parties.

Our dear, sweet friend Debbie, as we knew her..these pajamas were a Christmas gift from her a few years ago. We all modeled them at our quilt retreat at Koinonia in 2016... she was so kind and giving.
