I'm very sorry that I'm so late in posting something on here but I finally found these 2 original photos and scanned them from the wonderful 17 day trip to Italy, Switzerland, Monaco and the French Riviera that I took with Mary Grace back in 1994. Rest in peace, Mary Grace. I will treasure the memories of our trip, our nights out especially to see Miss Saigon on Broadway and the Bobby Sherman, Peter Noone and Davy Jones concert at Westbury Music Fair. But most of all, I will fondly remember seeing your beautiful, smiling face every day when we worked together at Sperry. Sending my deepest sympathy and prayers to her many loved ones.

Mary Grace was a gorgeous lady and a cousin of mine. I lived in calif. And she lived in New York suburb. I saw her and her family when I was in my twenties. Her mother cooked up a feast. Mary Grace was so kind to me and chatted with me after dinner. She was so pretty and yet so honest about everything. I wish she had married her boyfriend
Because marriage is a deeper kind of love. She sent me a card about 7 months ago but she did not say she was ill. I missed the sign. When someone sends you a card out of the blue they want you to call them or write to them. Now she is in heaven and at peace. God Bless You Mary Grace, Love, Suzanne Scaduto Leonard.

Dearest Aunt Mary. Kathryn loved telling me all about you even before I met you. I learned about your sacred hugs of brother Vincenzo. Your “eeeeeeee” noise when you hugged Kathryn or Robert. Your love for tennis, Gary, and your family. I found so much comfort and peace knowing you took care of your mother for such an important part in her life. I will miss your genuine kindness and love but feel warmth from the light of heaven that shines on you each day. Especially with your darling angel in heaven.

    Love,

Words cannot describe how stunned and heartbroken I am to know you’re gone. You were a beautiful, fun-loving, perceptive, generous, honest and loyal person, not always understood by this crazy world. When I walked into the unknown, you were the first to reach out and be my friend. That’s who you were. You always listened and always cared. Always easy and willing to talk to. You understood when no one else could. I didn’t get the chance to know you very long, but I will never forget you. I miss sharing stories with you. I miss your spirited laughter. Most of all, I miss you my dear friend. Thank you for all the beautiful memories.

My love, prayers and deepest condolences to your family and loved ones.

Mary Grace Thornton was our next door neighbor. We have known her, not for years but for decades. We will miss her friendly smile, her cheerful greetings, our friendly chats on our porch where she shared with Mary all family and neighborhood news. We grew closer with her especially after her mother died and she lived by herself. We would shovel her sidewalk in winter, bring in the trash bins after collection and do so many other things for her. She was always so grateful. She was so happy with Gary who was so good to her and was with her to the end.
For us her passing it is like losing a member of our family. Rest in Peace Mary Grace and may the Angels take you to Paradise.

Most sorrowful condolences. Best and most beautiful friend, I will miss you so greatly. It is unbearable to think you will not be here to talk and laugh with anymore. The world has lost your brilliant and gracious soul.
