It is with great sadness that I found out about Richard's passing... I will miss him everyday. He greated me many morning and I him on Cliff Road East. Whether it was a simple wave or he scolded me for smoking a cigarette, I will miss that. Thank you Richard for caring....

Richard greeted me many mornings as he was tending to his yard in Wading River . Whether he was weeding or raking. . when i got up and stepped outside he was across the street... He told me everytime... Lisa please quit smoking. Richard said so much more.... His words have not fell on deaf ears... I take his words and wisdom to heart. I will miss you more than you know Richard. Thank you ♥️

I will miss Richard as my wonderful, friendly, helpful neighbor in Wading River. He gave me so much advice on construction, landscaping, and everything else about home ownership. He would tell me: "If he can install underground sprinklers at age 85, I could do it too." I will really miss his smiley face at my back door - always stopping over to say hi. Thank you Richard.

It is with great sadness that I learned of Richard Turchiano's death. He was one of the first people we met when we moved to Wading River twelve years ago, and he was an outstanding neighbor. He set the tone for pride in one's community, helpfulness, and good, sound practical advice on most any issue that arose. He and Anna were always a wonderful addition to any event. We will treasure his memory.

Richard was a cousin and more. He was my mentor for 42 years working along side of him. He was a powerful influence in my life. I shall miss him greatly but take away the lessons of honor, keeping your word and hard work. Godspeed Richard

Richard was one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I have known. He was a dedicated and cherished member of our association who never failed to support our endeavors with his charity, work and intelligence. He leaves a very significant void in our community, the Wildwood Hills Property Owners Association.

MR. TURCHIANO WAS A GREAT MAN LOVED BY ALL. HE WILL TRULY BE MISSED. I REMEMBER GOING TO WADING RIVER IN THE SUMMER. HE DROVE ME AND HIS DAUGHTER ANTOINETTE, FROM BROOKLYN N.Y. TO LONG ISLAND.
