I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful mother. She taught me so much in the summer program at Stratford and was very instrumental in guiding me to become a teacher. Your mom was so kind and one of a kind. When I was a substitute teacher she taught me so much but I do remember when a student was reading and was supposed to be doing math, she said, “Although I love that you are reading, I need you to focus on math!” She always made every situation into a positive one. I make sure that I do that in my classroom! Thank you for sharing your mother with me!

We are very sorry for your loss. All 3 of our children had Mrs. Petrella for 2nd grade- she was the absolute best in every way. It is an honor to have known her. We will be forever grateful that she was part of our children's lives.
