Dianne was my colleague and dear friend. I first met her as a teacher and later in my role as principal of Denton Avenue. Dianne was a remarkable teacher - intuitive, inspirational, compassionate and dedicated to her students and their families. Dianne mentored dozens of young teachers throughout the years. She was generous and selfless with her time - listening, encouraging, and sharing her tips, strategies, and materials. She was the heart of our school community. In the more than 20 years I knew her - she was always the proud mom and grandma who loved to share stories of her family. Dianne had a great sense of humor, optimism and faith that gave her strength to face the challenges she faced with grace and courage. I hope that you feel surrounded by the love of all of us who knew her and will miss her.

Dianne was an amazing and inspiring woman to all of us who were fortunate enough to know her.
As her next-door neighbors for nearly 25 years while our gaggle of happy and active children all were growing up in adjoining houses that as often as not felt like one giant house, we had the great good fortune of knowing Tom and Dianne and their Kids and Grandkids particularly well.
Godspeed, Dear Friend; we miss you already.
You leave a legacy of grace and love that will live on forever in all the many people whose lives you touched.

Your mom was such an amazing person. When I heard that she passed it brought instant tears. The memories of her were all wonderful. She helped me so much when I was her student teacher and a teaching assistant at Herricks. Words can not describe how deeply she will be missed. Truly one of a kind. God bless her.
