I'll love you forever too Dad...

Our voices you heard, our deep love that you felt,
were with you that night as you peacefully slept.
The Angels appeared to guide you away,
from the struggles and pain from each every day.

Our hearts are broken, our lives have changed,
to not have you with us now is so much pain.
As you lay to rest, your memory will remain
deep in our hearts, we know it's heavens gain.

Reuniting with family and friends who are gone,
all the singing, the stories and jokes will live on.
Watch over us always, as you've done so before,
There's so much I want to say, there's just so much more.

You whispered you'll love me forever,
"I'll love you forever too Dad."
    We shared that special moment,
I'm blessed I had that with you.

    Your eternal love for Mom,
and how you always protected us,
your rock arms, unique personality and humor,
are just some of the special things,
    I will always remember.

    I will miss your giggle,
    your strength and charming ways,
a huge loss to our family, I'm so sad to say.

I want to thank you from my garden,
for all the signs as I cry,
    the light through my window,
the feather in my palm, the purple butterfly.

    My Guardian Angel now,
still with the beautiful heart you had,
I will always be so proud of you
and blessed that you were my Dad.
I love you Daddy and I miss you so much,
    Vicky

John was more than a person, he was an event. He had so many talents, a truly amazing family & very special friends. I loved to sing with him. I had written a novella, describing the many times I had spent time with his family @ his beautiful house- when I returned to the site to complete it -it vanished. John's tremendous wit & singing voice were among a plethora of his talents. I always had amazing conversations with his guests & was highly impressed at how special they all were. I am honored to know him & his wonderful family, and extend my deepest heartfelt condolences to all who cherished him. I miss all of you & hope to see you very soon. You are all so very special.

The song my body guard was written in his honor.
Judith would sing with him at family functions at comedy clubs even just at Tables or the Friars Club.
Dad Mike now 98 and John would just smile to each other as they were made of the same indestructible power.
John was always in the best of humor always ready with a great song, joke, memory, or just perfect experienced advice. When with his family and devoted, beloved, ever supportive Pat and John jr., an awesome friend and power in his own continuously maintained right; the atmosphere was uniquely heavenly.
Gd bless you and endless thanks.

I put my hands out waiting for you to hold them, I cry so many tears hoping you will wipe them away for me., I visit you at the cemetery always with fresh flowers for you hoping you can see them, I play Frank Sinatra songs hoping you can hear them.

But Daddy most of all I’m hoping you can hear me telling you How much I Love You And Miss You

I had the pleasure of being John’s nurse. During the time I had with John I got to know him . He was always nice, and very funny always having something funny to say that would make you laugh. There was never a dull moment he was full of spunk. He loved to watch his surroundings We all would often joke with him and call him the general he always knew what was going on and always had something to say about it. I have all nice & funny memories of him and his wonderful family whom were always there for John and always so lovely to be around. I am thankful that I had the pleasure to be able to take care of John and to have met his family. I know he is looking down at us all monitoring the situation and having a comment about it. I know he is at peace and we will all miss him dearly with my deepest condolences to his wife, children and family may god give you all the strength to heal at this time.

We did not know John well. We only saw him at church and he was a man of God and is now in the presence of God in eternity. He was always cheerful and told us interesting stories of his life. A good joke was always part of his stories. Our church and Ritchie and I will miss him. We want to say how sorry we are to Pat and John JR and her daughters but there is no pain or suffering in the presence of the Lord.

DEEPEST CONDOLENCE TO THE FAMILY! WE ALWAYS HAVE BEEN PART OF THE FAMILY AS WE HAVE KNOWN JOHNNY AND PAT SINCE OUR CIRCUS DAYS. BACK IN THE EARLY FIFTIES WE TRAVELED UNDER THE BIG TOP DAYS WITH THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH. RINGLING BROTHERS AND BARNUM AND BAILEY CIRCUS. WHEN JOHNNY HAD TO LEAVE THE SHOW TO RETURN TO NEW YORK TO WORK FOR HIS BROTHER IN NEW YORK
THE SHOW WAS IN THE BOSTON'S GARDEN AND MY WIFE JEANNETTE AND I (MY GIRLFRIEND AT THE TIME) DROVE THEM TO THE AIRPORT PAT CRIED ALL THE WAY DOWN AS LEAVING THE CIRCUS WAS LIKE LEAVING YOUR FAMILY. THE REST OF THE STORY IS BEAUTIFUL AS THEY PRODUCED THREE CHILDREN, JOHN MICHEAL, FRANCINE AND VICKIE. TIMES FLY BY AND YOU NEVER REALIZE IT TILL ITS GONE. BUT WE HAVE OUR MEMORIES TO REMIND US OF THE THE WONDERFUL TIMES WE SHARED TOGETHER AND WE WILL NEVER FORGET ALL THEM BEAUTIFUL TIMES. REST IN PEACE MY BROTHER JOHN YOU WILL ALWAYS BE WITH US.

John was a special man and will be greatly missed. We thank the Lord for the opportunity to know and share our lives with him. I know that he will leave a great void within your beautiful family - may it serve as a constant reminder of his gracious and deep love and devotion that he had for each one of you.

“May the Lord bless you and keep you and may His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26,NIV)

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

John was a terrific guy and a class act. He was devoted to his family, had a wonderful sense of humor and a story or joke for every occasion. I'll always remember his many visits with his family to the annual Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon. His energy was contagious and I always looked forward to a hearing a few of his wonderful stories about his adventures in the entertainment world. He will be missed but his legacy remains. With deepest condolences to his loving family.

John was a gentle soul and blessed with a great sense of humor. He was a breath of fresh air and charisma. A faithful and devoted family man who was an example to me and others.

And now he is with our gracious Lord, where there is no more pain and suffering, but rather eternal joy.

Phyllis and I will cherish the great memories of time spent with John, Pat, and John jr. Until we meet again, Rest In Peace my friend.

I have many memories of uncle Johnny. We would visit often. I remember when uncle Johnny would come home from work. He would have so many pastries and meat for us to bring home. He always always found the time even if he was tried from work to joke around with us. Telling us jokes making us laugh. He also would perform for us. Signing with his Frank Sinatra albums. The louder the better. He was one of a kind. I will miss him. Thank you uncle Johnny for the memories. RIP.
    Love you.♥️♥️♥️♥️

There are not too many in the world that you truly look forward to be around, John was one of those people. His old school New York wit and humor was like being in the backroom before a performance - you felt like part of the circle, he gave that to you, on purpose - one of a kind that doesn't get replaced; I look forward to the afterlife for another show.

John was a wonderful man! I always enjoyed seeing him at our yearly Jolson events. He loved hearing Tony Babino sing, where Jolson and Sinatra was always prevalent. I hope Al and Frank are doing a command performance for you, because John, you certainly deserve it. R.I.P. my friend.

My husband Steve met John while they were both convalescing in Glen Cove Rehabilitation Center. This led to a daily get together at lunch or dinner for a long period of time. We got to really know each other well and shared many happy times together. I looked forward to our daily visits and what was a dark and sad time became enjoyable and comforting and created a special bond with a family that is so very special. I would forever cherish the memories and am so grateful to all of you for including us and making us feel like part of your loving family.
Our love and condolences at this difficult time.
RIP in John. Love Mina and Steve and our children.

After my father had a stroke that landed him in the hospital, I met John who visited my dad almost every day, day after day. I had never met anyone who would take the time and effort to do this day after day. John was a great friend to my dad until my father passed away. John did a great job trying to raise my dad’s spirits whose body was mostly paralyzed, and he found it hard to speak, but I knew how much John’s visits meant to him. As I got to know and admire John I was lucky to become his friend as well and later meet his amazing son John and his wife Pat, one of the warmest, most kind and elegant person you would be lucky to meet. I felt part of their family when they had me over for dinner at theirs house in Garden City. Once my partner and I moved to Vegas they visited our house and we all stayed in touch. I can hear John now telling me a joke to make me laugh and smile to give me a happy moment every time. John spent much of his life protecting so many people who relied on him and trusted him, and he always earned that trust! I am so very sad over his passing and offer my condolences to his very dear, very wonderful family he loved so much, a family that did so much to give him the love and support he thrived upon. John will live on forever in our hearts and minds, and when we think of one of the many funny stories he often told we will keep smiling for the rest of our lives and be thankful to have had him in our lives!

Big John is the father to my lovely wife Vicky and for the past 15 years I’ve gotten to know about this mans wonderful life. He was the hardest working person I’ve ever known and would never hesitate to help and protect any family member or friend. My sincere condolences to the family, Johnny will be missed by so many people. RIP Big John...

I have known John for over 30 years. We shared many wonderful times together. John would tell stories of his friendships with celebrities such as Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Jerry Lewis. He had me and everyone around him in stitches with the stories and jokes that he told. John was an encyclopedia of jokes. He was proud of his association with law enforcement. Most of all he was devoted to his wife Pat, his children and grandchild. I love John and will miss him. Rest In Peace.

I remember meeting John when he would be working with Vic Damone at The Westbury Music Fair. He would keep us all entertained with his stories of working with Jerry Lewis and many other celebrities. And of course his comedy routines. Later in years I worked with his son at Disney’s New Amsterdam Theatre, where I got to meet the rest of his family. I will always remember John as a very funny and entertaining person. I am glad to have considered him a friend. May God keep John and his family in the palm of his hand.

In the brief period of time that I knew John, he was always a joy with whom to visit and speak. When visiting my Cousin Fred, and, noticing his "FRANK" hat, I believe that Our Lord sent me over to introduce myself to John to talk about all of our mutual friends in Las Vegas and our mutual Frank Sinatra and Jerry Lewis musician buddies. John would light up when we would talk. A great smile and, even in his elder days, a sharp wit. I took the liberty of posting a picture Cousin Millie took of John and I on Facebook and I informed many of those Vegas friends. "John was a great human being" from one of Sinatra's musicians. "So sorry to hear this" from Frank's Vegas Musical Director, Vince Falcone's son, Danny. Many other warm, thoughtful comments from others. John left a legacy that these and many others experienced.
May God Rest his Soul and May Perpetual Light and God's showroom spotlight - Shine Upon John. Love and condolences to the entire Loiacono Families.
