I am deeply saddened to read that you transitioned, Dr. Sallustio. You were one of the favorite professors at Pace University. Your French Class on Saturday mornings was filled with enthusiastic students, because of your clear instructions and patience helping us to pronounce our words correctly. I remember your kindness in bringing us snacks that you had baked yourself. May your light continue to shine into eternity. God bless you, Sir.

Although we are all in separate places, this evening we raise a glass to Tony, a man of good will, a most kind colleague, and a twinkly-eyed true scholar. Now he rejoins his beloved colleagues who passed before him. Eternal remembrance.

    Dear Dr. Sallustio

I just learned about your passing and I deeply sadden. I worked with you for many years and got to know you. You were with Pace University, the Modern Languages & Cultures Department for many years and you left your mark with us. You were a wonderful professor and Chair and will always be remembered as a great leader. May you reunite with your favorite person, Loretta. Many blessings. I will light you a candle.

Such sad news. We knew him as Anthony, a dear and soft spoken cousin who touched everyone with his gentleness.

Dr. Sallustio (Tony) was an absolutely lovely colleague and I greatly appreciated his advice and counsel as a fellow language teacher at Iona College. I was also able to meet his beloved Loretta at Department gatherings. He was wonderful with everyone esp. his beloved students.

The Foreign Language Department at IONA COLLEGE was greatly enriched by the years Dr. Tony Sallustio joined our Language Faculty to teach French. He was a most dedicated teacher, ever enthusiastic and an admirable colleague in our Department.
Our sincere sympathy to the Sallustio Family ... you are remembered in the prayers
