My dear Uncle Charlie was a kind and loving man. My fondest memories are deeply rooted in family gatherings of love and laughter. As a child, Uncle Charlie introduced me to tuna sandwiches, which were not a staple in my family home. He was patient and preserved in this new acquired taste, instilling trust and courage. Ok he won!! He also taught me how to play Chinese checkers and called me by the nickname of “Suzy-Bell”, giving me a fit of giggles and made a very shy little girl feel family special. I will always cherish these loving memories and hold them as precious to my heart. Thank you Uncle Charlie also for always knowing to make mom laugh too and being there for her with strength and love. With all my love always!

Charlie was very special to me as a neighbor, friend and inspiration ( and baseball fan!) for 57 years! Everything about him was positive and I loved his sense of humor. So thankful to have known him. Thanks for the memories and rest in peace.
