Marie was a wonderful person! Always the most joyful and welcoming person. She was a shining light to everyone she spoke to. Marie will be missed by all of her relatives and friends. She will be in our hearts forever - a ray of love and joy.❤️

One of my earliest memories was of my aunt having us over for Christmas. She was always the loveliest, kindest, sweetest aunt anyone could ever hope to have. The world was a brighter place with her on it. Rest well in heaven Dear Aunt Marie. Love you always.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of your mom. We worked at Newsday together for many years; she was a great colleague and a truly wonderful friend. May her memory be a blessing and may time ease your sorrow leaving only the happiest of memories.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of your mother. She was a wonderfully kind, funny and loving woman. We worked together, side-by-side in the Publisher’s office for Newsday. Marie was not only a meticulous assistant to Jim Fitzgerald, she was someone who could ignite a spark in your heart whenever she was around. She delighted in the birth of each of her grandchildren and in the love she shared with your dad. An unprententious soul with a heart of gold. Rest In Peace, Marie, we will always have a place in our hearts.

I am so sorry for your loss. Our moms were good friends since their school days. I have many memories of camping at Lake Welch many summers with your family. Kindly accept my sympathies. May she rest in peace. Lisa Schroedl
