I remember Deacon Jack as a strong and spirited voice from the pulpit at St. Anne's Church. He was truly a man of great faith and I am sure is with our Lord in Heaven. RIP.

Jack served as a much-appreciated link to my family's history. My Uncle Ray Regan, like Jack, served as mayor of Garden City and, in fact, both were neighbors and friends. So I met Jack on numerous times though decades via that nexus. We encountered him last about a decade ago serving as a deacon at Notre Dame Parish, where coincidentally I grew up. Further, as a deacon at St. Anne's, Jack led prayers at the wake of one of my parents (can't recall which at the moment) at Fairchild. Hearing about Jack's passing is sad news indeed!

Dear Charlene and Carter Anne... I echo all of Bob’s eloquent sentiments about Jack. His compassion and selfless service to others impacted so many lives. Jack was a man of great faith, conviction and character – traits that are extremely rare these days. Our relationship began over 30 years ago and I considered him a mentor and friend. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have worked with and learned from Jack. I will never forget how he supported me unequivocally during some trying times. Jack truly was a special person and will be deeply missed. Thank you for sharing him with us all these years. I hope all the good memories comfort you during this difficult period.

Dear Charlene and Carter Anne,I was crushed by the news of your Husband's/Father's passing. He was one of my favorite people and truly an extraordinary individual.I'm proud to think that he thought of me as a friend and I always enjoyed being with him and dealing with issues of our mutual concern. There was never any question on where he stood and if you had any doubt , all that was needed was to ask him.The reply was always direct, like it or not! Thank you for sharing him with us in his many capacities over the years. He truly did make a difference and life better. He will be missed.
Monica and our children join me in expressing or sympathy to you.
