I am so sad to hear about George. Although we haven’t kept in touch in recent years our cousin George was a beloved member of our family. My sisters and I send love to our cousins.

I'm heartbroken to hear about my old pal George passing away. I met George at Susquehanna University circa 1986, when I walked past his dorm room and heard my favorite band, UTOPIA (Todd Rundgren) blasting from his room. I knocked on his door, introduced myself, and told him "I love Todd Rundgren and Utopia as well!". From that day on we were pals. We spent a lot of great times in college, our mutual love of Todd/Utopia music bonding us. The last time I saw George was in NYC at a Todd Rundgren show where I bumped into George by coincidence. He bought me a beer and we had an all-too-quick hug before he had to get back to his seat. He was such a wonderful guy. So funny and just a great friend. My deepest condolences to his wife and kids and all who loved him. I love ya, George -- and I'll never forget you. x

I was very sad to hear of George's passing. My condolences to Megan, Emma and Jack. I worked with George the last few years and enjoyed talking shop. We got to know each other and shared many stories about our kids. He really loved telling me about Emma and Jack. He was a wonderful person and will be missed.

Our deepest condolences to the family. We both had the pleasure to work with George at Allstar, always fun to be around and a wonderful dry sense of humour. He will be missed greatly.

George and I were good friends in High School. His wit and playfulness is a vivid memory. He was sitting in my old broken down car in the parking lot at 7-11 (near GCHS) when he decided to go to Susquehanna. He was a good man and I’ll pray for you all

Devilish, whip-smart, talented, athletic, energetic, with the most wry sense of humor. We formed a band when we were kids, when we weren’t playing ball in the streets. So bad we didn’t even even have a name. George was the only one with any musical talent. We loved Frampton and especially Todd Rundgren. We went together every time Todd came around on tour. I’m devastated by this loss. George was a guy you never thought wouldn’t be around. It was so comfortable to spend time with him. He never brought you down. He truly symbolized living in the moment and making times together their most enjoyable. My heart goes out to his whole family and all the friends who have to endure his loss. I have a feeling, like me, there’s only smiles and good times whenever you think of his name. I was lucky to have a friend like George for so long and so many memories. “Shining Still!” - TR

George will be greatly missed, I will remember him as a man that stood by his people, was gracious with his praise, had a great and sharp wit. He was able to temper anxiety and keep us from worrying about what appeared to be urgent. Family was always first. Godspeed to you, George.
