Om Sadagati.Laxmi Khemraj-Balram - March 11, 2023We are gathered here today to honor the memory of what my brother Toshan and I would call grandfather Dr. Joe. He was a pillar of strength to his family and a source of inspiration for us. He had a way of making us feel loved and valued, and he always had time to listen to our stories and offer wise advice. His love for his family will always be a shining example of how to live a good life. I can only write this with deep regret and my Uncle Paul in my thoughts mourning this passing of a father and dear friend to him. Although we feel his loss deeply, we take comfort in knowing that he lives on through us and the memories we will cherish forever. On behalf of the Misirs- Toshan and Aruna Misir, our most sincere condolences.Aruna and Toshan Misir

Some realize the Self within them through the practice of meditation, some by the path of wisdom, and others by selfless service. Others may not know these paths; but hearing and following the instructions of an illumined teacher, they too go beyond death, you was my teacher and friend.
I send my love to ChaChee, my sister Debs and bro Paul, remember I am here for you . Take care I will ring you next DebsLeeadhar Misir-Maharaj - March 10, 2023Paul, my condolences to you and your family. I remember visiting your dad in Guyana with you in 2010. He was very excited to be back in legal practice.Phil Zhong

- March 13, 2023To Paul, Debbie, Reka, Grant and the Misir Family,
Our deepest condolences and RIP in your next adventure Uncle! It was always a joy and I was able to chat and hang with him in New York, New Amsterdam or Georgetown. He was a good, smart and strong man - qualities that are prevalent in his children and I am sure will prevail in the grand children as well.
Warmest,
