One of the kindest and most accomplished men I've known. I'm so happy to call Ray my cousin. Barbara was just the same.
Ray and Barbara were humans that inspire faith in humanity. Few people show such compassion and grace. These were exceptional people, indeed.

I was so blessed to spend time with Ray in Lourdes and when he so graciously invited me to the Order of Malta Gala to sit at his table. We shared our stories of our love for the wonderful spouses we were so blessed to marry. Rest in peace with Our Lord and Our Blessed Mother Ray.

Russ, we are sending our love and deepest condolences from Belfast. Ray was a wonderful character who will be sorely missed. It is clear from this beautifully written notice that he was treasured as a father and grandfather, admired as a friend and highly respected as a lawyer. As a young Irish lawyer myself, I found it so heartening to read about his tremendous accomplishments and I only wish I could have talked about it with him in person.
It was a delight for us getting to reconnect with you both over the past few years. We were all devastated to hear of Ray’s passing, as we had been messaging him so recently.
We are sending our strength to you, Joanne, Andrew, Jackie and extended family during this very sad time.
We hope you won’t mind us sharing this small memory of your visit to Belfast some twenty years ago, a trip that brought Sally and Paddy great joy. x
