It’s difficult to encapsulate someone’s essence in words and express what a profound impact they have on the world you live in, but anyone who was graced with your presence knows how incredibly special you were. I’ve never met a more loyal and committed woman, committed to her faith and loyal to her family. You were steadfast in your convictions but always open to a good debate. I know my stubborn and strong spirit comes directly from you, I know my intensity and curiosity for learning is from you, I know my incurable loyalty to those I love was passed on from you. You have given me so much more than genes but your time and wisdom. I have been lucky enough to get to know you, grandma, in the many stages of my life. My favorite, being an adult and learning what to do more or or less of based on the lessons you already learned. I’m grateful you wanted to share your life with me, you were a wonderful woman and only those as strong as you could stand in your presence without waver. You were the nucleus of this family, you showed up for your children and grandchildren and never made excuses or plans bigger than any of us. Although it breaks my heart to know I won’t ever hold your hand or hear your voice again, I am grateful and honored to have known you, and you me, the way that I did. I feel so much of you when I look in the mirror and I know you will continue to live on through me and my own.
    Love Always,

    Dear Kovary and Valle Families,
Year after year I remember your Mom, Rose, coming to our Theatre Arts Productions at Brookside Theater. She had elegance and grace...and a great sense of humor! She was deeply loved by all of you and it showed. May she rest in peace and love now.
    Sincerely,

My sincere condolences to the Kovary clan. Kathy has told me many tidbits about her Mom over the years we taught together, and I gathered the sweetness, wit, and charm through her. You were all obviously blessed to have her in your lives for so long. Cherish those memories.

I will miss her. Although I would see her only every few years. she was a strong woman with a stronger will. And as my Aunt instructed me by example while I was growing up.

    Dearest Aunt Rose,
You have been in my thoughts since your brother's passing this past October. I know in my father's last years he truly enjoyed your company as he was always bringing up some story or another about the two of you. Thank you for keeping him so entertained and on his toes in your conversations. (pic 8.17.21) I'm sure you missed him.
It's been an honor to say you and George were my Godparents. I think one of my most memorable moments from a young age, was pertaining to that sailfish (swordfish?) which was on the wall where you entertained often. I won't mention it here, except to state you calmed my fears of it leaping off the wall and impaling someone. You were hilarious.
I also thank you for having kept alive much of the family history and I do hope it was being recorded as you had a wealth of knowledge to share.
But thank you most of all for being my Aunt Rose, with all your beauty and cleverness. We will all miss you, as I also know everyone who met you shall too.

    Until we meet again,
    Love,
    Janine, Chelsea, Tristyn.

Dear Kovary Family, we have only met your mother two or three times, in which we had long car rides to Port Jervis, and she kept us so entertained with family stories and happenings in her life. We will always remember her fondly. Our condolences to all her family and friends on her passing. Memories will keep her alive in your hearts forever.

Dear Grandma Rose, you were a remarkable woman who didn’t miss a beat, even in your 90s. You were full of sass and whit and beauty. You are a fine example of a life well lived, to us all, esp your many great grandchildren❤️

Dear mom, best friend and confidant,
There will never be a day that something I do will remind me of you. All your gardening tips, proper dance steps, social etiquette, dressing with style and most of all the never ending love and caring you freely gave to all of us. I love you always and forever.
