Edward Stanley Niemira was born February 12^th, 1949 in Staten Island, NY to Edward Niemira and Eugenia Glembocki. Ed grew up in his family’s deli with his sister, Eugenia.

Ed was a veteran of the US Army and served in Vietnam. After his service in the Army, he graduated from Baruch College with a B.S. in Accounting. He worked for AIG as a Director of Consolidations for 30+ years.

Barbara and Ed met in 1977 while working for Holland America Cruises, they married in 1987. Barbara and Ed have two children, Eddie (his wife Laura) and Dorothy. Ed also has one granddaughter, Stephanie.

Ed loved to cook for family and friends. He was a Life Master in Bridge and played at the Garden City Bridge Club. He also bowled weekly at Herill Lanes.

Ed was well loved and will be missed very much.
