Elna Kearns, 77, passed peacefully on December 1st, 2022. She is survived by her children Kevin, (Marybeth), Kirsten, (Mike), Martin, (Annie) & her ten grandchildren Amelia, Penelope, Harry, Lucy, Oliver, Bobby, Grace, Fiona, Molly & Teddy. She joins her parents Erika & Henry Thiele and her little angels Robert & Nola in eternal rest. 

Elna is lovingly remembered for her devotion to her family. She doted on her grandchildren, often attending a soccer game, baseball game, dance concert & then babysitting for the little ones all in one day. She found immense joy in her garden, tending to flowers & tomatoes and cultivating happiness along with the plants. Elna loved her social groups, even joining the senior center before she was eligible. She left a beautiful impression on all who were lucky to have met her and will be honored and missed by all who cherished and loved her. 

Visitation will be held at Fairchild Sons Funeral Home in Garden City on Sunday, December 4th, 2022, 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Funeral will be held at Corpus Christi Church in Mineola on Monday, December 5th, 2022 at 10:30am. Luncheon to follow.
