March 16, 1931 – February 12, 2020
Mary P Madden, age 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 surrounded by all eleven of her children at Good Shepard Hospice in Rockville Centre, NY. Mary was born in Belle Harbor, Queens, NY. She graduated from Stella Maris High School and was married to her beloved husband Harold F. Madden on January 17, 1953. Mary was a devoted Catholic and a faithful member of St. Joseph’s Parish, Garden City NY. Mary was committed to community service and philanthropy over the years which reflected her character of compassion and unselfishness. She had unconditional love for her entire family and role modeled for the importance of living life to its fullest by fishing, skiing, socializing, and most of all being true to herself and others. Beloved wife of Harold F Madden-deceased, daughter of Evelyn and Walter Moran -both deceased. Sister of Andrew Moran (Susan). Mother to Brian H. Madden (Elizabeth), Maureen Madden, Kevin J Madden (Ellen), Walter Madden (Judy Fallon), Regina Madden (Mark Scasny), Evelyn Jordan (Richard), Virginia Madden, Mary Jeanne Miller (Matthew), Sharon Fennessy (James-deceased), Madonna McMaster (Michael) and Mara Sproul (Matthew). Grandmother to Paul Madden, Mellissa McNeill (Daniel), Tara Magee (Christopher), Kevin Madden, Colleen Walsh (Brendan), Catherine Jordan (William Deutmeyer), James Fennessy, Michael Fennessy, Meagan Fennessy, Morgan Miller, Kendall Miller, Shannon Sproul, Ashley Sproul, Colleen Sproul, Matthew Sproul, Emma McMaster, Kevin McMaster, Christopher Madden. Great Grandmother to Harrison McNeill, Abagail McNeill, Penelope McNeill, Hunter Magee, Henry Magee, Liam Walsh, Harper Deutmeyer.
