I knew Jim while we were cadets at West Point, but really got to know him in Viet Nam. Jim was stationed in a town in Viet Nam called Banmethuot, where my wife lived. We were married in Banmethuot in 1969, and Jim was one of the grooms at our wedding. Jim also was given the duty of investigating my wife’for her security clearance so she could come to the US with me at the end of my tour. We will both miss Jim very much..
