Janet was a dear neighbor and friend to my mom, Judy Madden. My mom has also been sick the last few years and Janet was always so good to check in. I’m so sad to hear of your loss yet glad she is at peace. She is so special. My deepest condolences to her entire family.

In the short time I cared for Janet, I was touched by two things her gentle sweetness in spite of her physical challenges the loved & care by family and caregivers.

You were such a wonderful friend and a beautiful soul. Through every trial and triumph, your faith and light never wavered. You brought warmth, kindness, and grace wherever you went, and your spirit touched everyone who had the blessing of knowing you. Now that you are in the Lord’s loving arms, I know the gates of heaven opened wide to welcome you home. Your love, your laughter, and your gentle spirit will forever remain in hearts.

I met Janet many years ago when I was teaching Yoga at the Garden city Rec .
That was over twenty years ago. She joined that Yoga class to help her through her illness.The challenges she faced never stopped her.Over the years we would keep in touch. when coming to Yoga was too much for her.She was a gift to her family and all the knew her.Rest in peace my friend.

My condolences to Janet's family for their loss. Janet and Andy were such a huge support to my sister, Kathy during her 6 year battle with Ovarian Cancer and I will always hold a special place in my heart for them. Their compassion, kindness, unbelievable strength and faith helped Kathy live as long as she did. I will not be able to attend Janet's services but she and her family are in my thoughts and prayers.
