To the McDougall family my Prayer and condolences 🙏🏾
    Heavenly Father,
We come to You with heavy hearts, asking for Your loving comfort to surround this family as they grieve the loss of their mother. Hold them close in their sorrow, give them peace beyond understanding, and remind them they are not alone. May her love and memory remain a source of strength, and may Your presence bring rest, hope, and healing in the days ahead.
    Amen.”

Lona was a kind, loving and generous lady. In the half century I have witnessed her dedicated service to St. Paul's. Always willing to share her many talents, she personified the saying: if you need something done, ask a busy person. I will miss my beloved friend. Michael and Shawnya, My prayers are with you and yourn family. May God comfort you at this time and always.

Lona, you were always a dedicated disciple, mother, wife, teacher, and more. While you will be sorely missed by us for now, we shall meet again. We love you and know the Lord Jesus will keep you always.

The members of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the entire family and loved ones of Mrs. Lona McDougall.
We have no words that will help to ease the pain you are all feeling, Hold on to the love and memories she had for each of you. Know that within every heartbreak, every prayer she still lives within you.
We pray that the Holy Spirit be your source of comfort and strength and may God grant each of you the peace that only our Heavenly Father can give, with hope of better days ahead.
Sister Lona, as she is known to us in church, was a phenomenal and very spiritual person. She served the Lord faithfully and attended church regularly. She served for many years as the President of the Women's Group, Member of the Church Council, Communion Assistant and was in the choir. Sister Lona loved to sing.
She spoke proudly of her children, their spouses and grandchildren, her love for them was endless.
Sister Lona will forever live within us and memories of her will always be cherished.
We love you Sister Lona and we will miss you dearly.
    Rest in Peace.
    God Bless!

Our heartfelt condolences to all the members of the Mc Dougal Family on the passing of Lona, beloved Mother, and grandmother.
Lona was a LADY with a huge heart that was of pure gold. Her warm smile lighted up any room in which she was. This was particularly true when she was with her St. Paul’s family.
She filled many roles in her church. She was a member of the Vestry and secretary for many years, a Good Friday preacher, a leader of the Women’s group but her most endearing role was that of Big Sister. She was ever ready to share her time and talent with others. Her knitting and craft skills as well as her ability to grow and care for plants were all shared with her sisters at her church.
While she remained close with her friends, she was ever mindful of the friends’ children and grandchildren, always enquiring of their well-being.
Lona’s home-going is leaving a hole in our lives, but she is also leaving memories of happy times and the example of how a life should be lived.
