Patrick was the kind of friend everyone hopes to have. He was a devoted volunteer, a committed Board member, and a faithful friend to The Salvation Army. But beyond all of that, he was my friend — a friendship I will cherish forever.

Through Patrick, I discovered what it truly means to savor life and delight in every moment it offers. He taught me how to love Jesus by loving your community, your family, and your friends, and by treating others the way you would want to be treated.

I will always remember you, Patrick, as my “first-rate” friend.

My life is so much richer for having known Pat from when I joined Resurrection in 2010. As head of the Men's Ministry since 2015, I came to rely so much on Pat's insights and brilliance during our discussions at our meetings. He can never be replaced. Godspeed, friend.

Patrick was a junior high and high school classmate and a truly extraordinary individual. It is a pity he left us so soon. I will remember his kindness and optimism and admire his many achievements and commitment to the community. May others whose lives he touched be inspired by his example. May God bless his family and comfort them in their grief.

Pat was a force of nature, always connecting people together in service of others. He had a big heart and shared the Good News through his words and deeds. He was an advocate for the underdog, as his Mets and Jets fandom demonstrate. We are grateful to him for exuding goodness, decency, and civility.

Rest in peace my dear friend. You will truly be missed.

I still remember meeting you for the first time when I was a young lawyer, standing in line to conference a building violation with the Town of Hempstead Town Attorney’s Office at 99 Main Street. I had no idea what I was doing, and you showed me kindness right away—you helped me without hesitation. That moment stayed with me.

Over the years, that small act of kindness turned into a genuine friendship. You always welcomed me—into your circle, into your family—with warmth and generosity. I will always remember the laughter, the jokes, and the many good moments we shared.

I especially remember celebrating your 60th birthday in November 2024. Time flew by. You were so full of life—young, vibrant… gone far too soon.

It’s hard to believe you’re gone. Life feels so fleeting in moments like this. You will be deeply missed. Thank you for everything.

Patrick was one of a kind in high school and from the sound of his obituary he continued to dedicate himself to his family, friends and community. My heart goes out to his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings and everyone who knew and loved him.

I was friends with Patrick through high school, and he was an exceptional young man already back then. He clearly used his intelligence and compassion to the glory of God throughout his life, and while I extend my deepest sympathies to his family and friends, I rejoice for Patrick as he now lives illness free in the presence of our heavenly Father.

I knew Patrick only briefly, and I have not seen him in over twenty years, but I will never forget his warm demeanor. Patrick created a lasting, unforgettable impression on me that cannot be erased.
