- August 17, 2026Barry was a real friend who always speak the truth, no matter who you are and firm on his ethical standard, in fact, both the brothers, Lenny & Barry were fair, honest and firm in their work, opinion and decision. We pray for the piece of the eternal soul. We surely miss Barry. May God bless us all. Thanks.Chowdhury Qumrul Hoq Biplob

- August 12, 2026You will be so greatly missed. Such a wonderful man that was so caring and loving to my lifetime friend Joyce. A wonderful father to Scott, Beth Ann and Jeff. I will always remember your thoughtfulness in sending Joyce and I for our weekends in New York City. Gone, far too soon and loved by so many. I am heartbroken for Joyce, Scott, Beth Ann, Jeff and for all his grandchildren who meant so much to him.Anne Curato

- August 11, 2026My sincere condolences to Barry's family. The pride and joy Barry demonstrated when he talked about his family demonstrated his special love for you all.
I feel honored and blessed that Barry was a part of the 18 International family and my only regret is that I did not meet him sooner.
What a wonderful man! He will be missed!Tim Longlade - August 11, 2026Barry was always outside on the weekends playing with the neighborhood kids. We lived across the street and Joyce was always there by his side and cheering the kids in. We moved to Atlanta and I remember when they came for a visit. What a great time we had. I remember Barry was so nervous about the drive back to New York that he got the family up in the middle of the night and off they went. God bless you all and Joyce I am sending you a big hug . You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.Joey Bickes

Barry was always the ringleader. Great memories from a great guy.
Rip my friend!willy Odenthal - August 10, 2026I remember Barry as a devoted Husband & Dad who loved to laugh and talk sports. I always remember playing softball at Grove park with Barry, family and friends.
Barry paid me to cut his lawn one summer and on the hot days I would always stop halfway through and get an Iced Tea. Barry loved teasing me and asking me if I was coming back tomorrow to finish the job. I love Barry, Joyce and his family and will miss him.Joseph Odenthal - August 10, 2026Our sincere condolences to your family during this difficult time. - August 10, 2026Around 1990 I was playing right field in a softball game in a field adjacent to the Garden City pool. Up to bat came Barry Lord. Despite my moving back deeper because of Barry’s reputation he hit a ball so far over my head that I had to run deep into the next field to get to it. He was already around third base on his way to home plate by the time I reached the ball. After the game most of us said a quick hello to our opponents. And most talked about how well they played softball that day. Not Barry. Despite his massive HR all he asked me was how was my family.Leo Stimmler
- August 10, 2026Dearest Joyce, Scott, Beth Ann and Jeff- I just found out that your beloved Barry, Papa had passed away! I am so sorry and remember, fondly and happily, many wonderful times, with the Egan’s, several years ago. Pat and I are not, in Garden City, at the moment and won’t be able to pay our respects, in person. Love, Val and Pat ScollardValerie Hesterberg-Scollard
