I went to St Catherine of Siena School with him and live up the block on 70th Street. Many of times I went to his apartment and did homework together. He was one of the top students in the class. When I moved here I noticed that his grand daughter was playing for Garden City basketball team. We chated for several minutes andI never got back to him.

I just came across this heart felt loss.
I was the basketball center for Manhattan Prep, while Bob was in action at Manhattan College.I would stay after practice to learn his techniques and skills, eventually using them as a player at George Washington University.Although being a “gym rat”and Bob being 4 years older,he always had pleasant words for me,with a smile.I truly admired him.RIP.

Bob and I were coworkers at IBM. He was a larger than life personality who always led all of us in sales achievement. We spent many nights commuting to LI and talking about our families …. I miss his advice!!!

Robert Chlupsa was a classmate of mine and I always enjoyed watching him play MC basketball during the late 60s. Sorry to hear about his passing.
    May he rest in peace

My Condolences to the family. Bob was a great guy. Always enjoyed watching him coach my son, Brian at St. Joseph's CYO.
