John was one of my closest friends for more than 60 years. His smile lit up every room that he ever entered. We had more great times together than I can count. Many rounds of golf, many ball games, many parties, many laughs.
John’s whole life was one of great joy. He lived for his family, his faith and his friends.
I am so lucky that I was a small part of it.
Rest in Peace, John. I will remember you always.

a great neighbor whose words I always enjoyed hearing and whose passions to provide our children was inspirational. We enjoyed youth lacrosse. high school lacrosse and ACC lacrosse and was pleased to see his interest in Harlem Lacrosse. He is missed already but I see him regularly as I travel home on Euston road and continue searching for his fresh baked chocolate chip cookies! Rest in peace good man!

What a beautiful engaging personality was my first impression when meeting John over 60 years ago. I met him with the late Peter Locke and Jim Kenney at the popular Leo’s restaurant. What a wonderful beginning that was reviewing life looking back in time. Honestly it was fantastic to recall that first meeting with John and those mentioned above who were part of a fantastic team of men.
I was blessed to know John on the journey of life sharing tremendous occasions especially our annual Christmas gatherings hosted by William J Kenney that spanned 40 years.

I was extremely fortunate over the last several months to talk to him weekly. He knew his health was failing and was comforted by his faith. What a privilege to hear his words that knowing his last breath in this life would be his first breath in front of God.
John was a gentleman who treasured friends realizing those relationships are the solid gold of life. I will miss that gregarious personality but will treasure those memories that were shared with an old friend. Hopefully his children will gain some comfort during this difficult period in life.
